The four days of track sessions at Mugello concluded with the official Ducati Panigale R SBK offered to customers 1299 Superleggera

Danilo Petrucci, Michele Pirro, Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri welcomed the lucky Ducatisti, helping to make the day on the track aboard the Borgo Panigale super sports bikes even more memorable.
They have recently been successfully completed four days on the track at Mugello with the Ducati Panigale R SBK official, offered to the lucky customers of the 1299 Superleggera, the most powerful limited edition of the Panigale 1299, 500 examples which immediately sold out.
They responded to Ducati's invitation approximately 200 customers, coming from all over the world, to test the 1299 Panigale S, the 1299 Superleggera and the Panigale R SBK on the track.
On the track Danilo Petrucci, Michele Pirro, Chaz Davies e Marco Melandri welcomed the Ducatisti, to make this experience even more special.
For the occasion, a series of garages were set up, including the two "official" garages where the bikes of Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri were waiting to be tested.
The program included a first round of three laps of the track with the 1299 Panigale S, subsequently as many on board the 1299 Panigale Superleggera, and then get on the saddle SBK of Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team, which obviously were the most awaited by the participants.

During the four days at Mugello they were well covered 7.300 km, For a total of 1.737 laps of the Mugello circuit accomplished astride the three types of Ducati Superbikes. Over 170 covers were used over the four days on the track.

The Dutchman Jean Claude Luijcx: “I didn't sleep the night before the test. The 1299 Panigale S is a great bike, but the difference with the 1299 Superleggera is crazy. And the same goes when you then get on the Superbike. What an unforgettable experience!”
