Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP: a force expressed on the track [VIDEO]

Presented together with the new one Street Fighter V2, in the fourth episode of the web series Ducati World Premiere 2022, Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP it is a high-performance naked in a numbered version. In a video proposed by Ducati on YouTube it is possible to admire its sporting character.

The motorcycle

A powerful naked, the result of the association between the connotative “Fight Formula” and the characteristics of an exemplar “SP” (Sports Production), keeping in mind a power/weight ratio refined compared to that of the Streetfighter V4 S, already significant.
One highlighted "Winter Test" livery designed by the Ducati Style Center, drawing inspiration from the Ducati Corse motorcycles used in the pre-season tests of the MotoGP and SBK Championships with a matte black color on the superstructures, an exposed brushed aluminum tank, a matte carbon finish on the rims and wings, in addition to the bright red details. We also note peculiar details such as the progressive number printed on the handlebars and the colors of the Italian flag on the most exposed part of the wings.

Among the aspects highlighted also a lithium ion battery, adjustable aluminum footrests machined from solid, a carbon front mudguard and accompanying parts that can be used during track days, such as the open carbon clutch cover and the cap for removal of the license plate holder (remembering that these two elements are designed for exclusive use on closed circuits and their use on public roads is prohibited).
The suspension system is made up of Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 solutions managed by the "event based" system, capable of varying the damping based on the rider's riding style. The biplane wings are also functional. The braking system includes high-performance Brembo Stylema R® front brake calipers and the model is also equipped with 5 split-spoke carbon wheels, which are 1,4 kg lighter than forged aluminum ones, according to the information. There is a reduction in the moment of inertia of 26% at the front and 46% at the rear, supporting agility.

The engine is Desmosedici Stradale da 1.103 cc. The engine is associated with an STM-EVO SBK dry clutch capable of offering an optimized anti-hopping function and accentuated fluidity in the "off-throttle" phases on the track. The power touches i 208 horses and the pair a value of 123 Nm at 9.500 rpm.
The equipment of the Streetfighter V4 SP derives from the Superleggera V4 and the weight in running order is 196 kg, three kilos less than the Streetfighter V4 S example.
