Ducati Streetfighter and Monster, the news from IntermotDucati Streetfighter and Monster, the news from Intermot

We continue to reel off the new features of the Ducati range, which the Borgo Panigale motorcycle manufacturer presented at the Intermot Show in Cologne, an event that opened in the morning. Another of the protagonists of the event and of the 400 square meter pavilion is the sporty naked Ducati Streetfighter, which has been enriched with an Artic White colour, just as happened with the Ducati 848 EVO.

Ducati Streetfighter S 2011, however, is equipped with new aesthetic decorations. The red color of the bodywork is now accompanied by the red chassis, while the new Diamond Black shade is combined with the Racong Black chassis. For both aesthetic choices, the new Streetfighter S is equipped with a black radiator cover and exclusive black-colored alloy wheels.

Some innovations are also reserved for the other naked in the Ducati range, Monster. First of all, the entry-level Ducati Monster 696 version comes equipped with a 20 millimeter raised handlebar, which improves comfort. The intervention on the rear subframe has the same function, in order to install the passenger handles in a more comfortable position (which, however, are accessories of the Ducati Performance package).

The effect of the wave of innovation for the 696 Monster 2011 does not end here: a new 43 mm Marzocchi fork, with an adjustment aimed at riding comfort, has been included in the equipment of the smallest cubic capacity of the bare Ducati. Furthermore, the Italian manufacturer has introduced two new colors for the paintwork of the skimpy bodywork of the Ducati Monster 696: they are called Dark Stealth and Stone White, which are paired with the matt chrome shade of the motorcycle's handlebars.
