Ducati Scrambler Italia Independent: Lapo Elkann and his team bring style and originality [PHOTO]

Ducati Scrambler Italy Independent – Scrambler Ducati and Italia Independent presented their creations in Miami. During the week of the contemporary art exhibition “Art Basel”, they were, in fact, revealed a new limited edition Scrambler and a collection of sunglasses inspired by the “Land of Joy”.

This is a three-year collaboration agreement that sees Ducati and Italia Independent together for the first time, to create a strong combination of style and originality made in Italy. The subject of the collaboration is Scrambler and for the occasion a specific logo was created which depicts the union of the two different souls from which the project originated. The new Scrambler Italia Independent is an original interpretation of this motorbike, created in a limited and numbered edition of only 1077 units. The new Ducati Scrambler Italia Independent is enriched with an aluminum plate with laser marking of the serial number of the individual example. The Scrambler Ducati – Italia Independent logo characterizes both the tank cheeks and the label applied to the exclusive leather saddle.

The Scrambler Italia Independent is inspired by the world of "cafè racers" and stands out for a series of handcrafted details, such as the black engine with milled fins and visible workmanship, complete black exhaust assembly with Termignoni silencer, low variable-section handlebar with aluminum rear-view mirrors mounted at the end. The short front mudguard, the essential fairing, the frame and rims painted “Night Copper” (a color created for this special), the saddle with stitching in the same color and the embroidery of the Italia Independent logo on the back further embellish this version. The "Matte Black" color of the entire bike and the side covers of the tank, made with an artisanal brushing process that recall the "Night Copper" of the rims and frame, further emphasize the "café racer" soul of this new bike .

The new Ducati Scrambler Italia Independent will be available starting from spring 2016 at a price of 11.977 euros (ex-dealership).
