Ducati Riding Experience 2014: driving school with the "Reds"

This year with the new 899 Panigale and the Monster 1200

Registrations are officially open (www.ducati.it) for the Ducati Riding Experience 2014, the multilevel driving school from the Borgo Panigale company. For the eleventh edition of the DRE, there are news regarding the courses and the range of motorbikes available for participants. The courses start from the "basic", for two-wheel novices, up to the "Driving Master" and the "Troy Bayliss Academy", for those who want to further improve and achieve high performance on the track.

“basic” and “intermediate” courses they are designed and offered for those who wish to improve their road driving technique, while maintaining fun and maximum safety; these courses will see the use of the Multistrada 1200, the Hypermotard, Hyperstrada, and the new Monster 1200.

The “Track Courses” have the objective of preparing students as best as possible for a fast and safe driving, thanks to a specific educational study before the experience on the track. To achieve this objective, unlike previous editions, these courses will take place over 2 days. The afternoon of the first day will be dedicated to a theoretical briefing and exercises aimed at the track course first level.

The Track Course second level remains faithful to the last edition. This course is structured for those who already have experience on the track but he wants to learn to improve and increase the speed of entry and cornering, make the most of the acceleration, perfect the fluidity of the driving style and acquire further safety in sports driving. Track I and II courses will be carried out with the new 899 Panigale.

For Piloting Master, the most advanced course, an equally important and educational meeting is planned, which will see the students engaged for around two hours with Alessandro Valia, head of the Master course and official Ducati test rider for series motorcycles, and with Dario Marchetti, head instructors.

It is confirmed for 2014 Troy Bayliss Academy, the course of the highest technical level in which the multiple World Champion himself will act as instructor. This course is aimed at only 5 expert participants, who are already familiar with the track and who wish to learn how to make the most of the potential of their vehicle. The motorbike used for this course is the 1199 Panigale St which uses the Termignoni exhaust only for the Academy course.

The 1st and 2nd level track courses will be able to accommodate a maximum of 50 participants divided into groups of 5 people, the Master course will instead accommodate 12 participants, divided into groups of 3 people, while the Academy course will be limited to one maximum number of 5 people for each date. Naturally, and this applies to all types of courses, each group will be led by an expert and qualified instructor.
