In one of the most interesting moments during the event World Ducati Week 2022, Race of Champions on Saturday 23 July, will be protagonists on the track 21 Ducati riders engaged in the MotoGP, Superbike and Supersport championships.

The event

Tickets for the eleventh edition of WWD extension they are already on sale, as reported. Different entry formulas are proposed for those who participate on motorbikes or as passengers, for one day or for the three days of the event. The information can be consulted in the dedicated section of the Ducati portal.
The announcement of new events and international guests is expected in the coming weeks.
Returning to the Race of Champions, it is a unique double category comparison with two winners. Arrays of Ducati Panigale V4 in front of specimens of Panigale V2 and the drivers will complete 12 laps of the track with free practice, qualifying and warm up, as well as times certified by Locman, the Official Timing Partner of the race.

Among the names listed: Pecco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Michele Pirro, Johann Zarco, Jorge Martin, Enea Bastianini, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Luca Marini, Marco Bezzecchi, Alvaro Bautista, Michael Ruben Rinaldi, Danilo Petrucci. Just some of the champions present in the challenge scheduled at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, together with other riders active with Ducati in the Superbike and Supersport championships, including Oliver Bayliss, son of the famous champion Troy.
The riders will compete riding examples of Panigale V4 S e Panigale V2 in racing configuration, customized with an exclusive livery inspired by the graphics of the motorbike used in the respective championships. The bikes will be equipped with Ducati Performance accessories designed for use on the track, including Rizoma brake lever protectors, Akrapovič titanium exhausts and Pirelli slick tyres. The engines will use the only oil certified by the Ducati Research and Development department: Shell Advance Ducati 15W 50.

Among the most interesting moments in the three days of the event, Friday 22 July is scheduled for parade with all the Ducatisti and their Ducatis. Starting with a lap of the track, the serpentine will converge up to Riccione for the evening program of the World Ducati Week, announced soon.
Also worth highlighting is lap of honour with all the riders present at the event, including historical names who have maintained a strong bond with the Ducatisti. Also on Friday 22 July, Carl Fogarty, Troy Bayliss, Chaz Davies, Régis Laconi and Rubén Xaus will take to the track together with the Race of Champions drivers.
