The long and accurate manufacturing process necessary to obtain the Panigale's Ducati Performance exhaust starts from light and resistant titanium. The Ducati 1299 Panigale is available in three models, base, R and S. With a peak power of 205 horsepower the Panigale 1299 immediately places itself at the top of its category. All three models have decided to review the geometry of the frame with the steering angle set at 24°, while the fork pivot is 4 mm lower, all in the name of more precise steering, a feature much criticized in model 1199. For the Ducati 1299 Panigale and Ducati 1299 Panigale S the high-revving Superquadro engine gets an increase in displacement to 1,285 cc, thanks to a larger diameter, 116 millimetres, while the Ducati 1299 Panigale R will remain with the original 1,198 cc, in order to comply with the World Superbike regulations.
