Ducati Panigale V4: an in-depth look at Riding Mode adjustments [VIDEO]

Il seventh episode of a series focused on sports is dedicated to the topic of "Riding Mode settings" with the intervention of Alessandro Valia, Ducati Official Tester and Carlo Ricci Maccarini, Ducati Superbike Development Team Leader.
In the new focus, also considering sports Ducati Panigale V4S, configurations, modes, options and features associated with the electronic part are explored.
Speaking of the advanced model, compliance with regulations stands out among the various aspects Euro 5 with interventions on the exhaust line and calibration of the drive unit with the same power and torque levels. Aspects of the aforementioned electronic part are also highlighted, including the splitting of the Riding Mode Race.
When evaluating the update, we also keep in mind what has already been done with the 2020 model. The sporty and streamlined vision derives from the aerodynamic package made up of elements such as plexiglass, fairing, fairings and side extractors and in particular from the aerodynamic appendages. Considering these and the hull setting, a vertical load increased by 30 kg at 270 km/h is highlighted.
The bike features a "Front Frame" with a magnesium front subframe and an aluminum seat post. At suspension level on the Panigale V4 there is a 43 mm Showa Big Piston Fork with Sachs steering damper and in the rear area an adjustable Sachs shock absorber, while on the Panigale V4 S Öhlins solutions are highlighted such as an Öhlins NIX-30 fork, steering damper Öhlins with event-based system and Öhlins TTX36 rear shock absorber, as well as management linked to the second generation of the Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system with new OBTi (Objective Based Tuning Interface). Returning to the electronics, with an advanced package we also mention a more predictive latest generation Ducati Traction Control and a DTC EVO 3, together with the use of a six-axis inertial platform. The powerful braking system includes new self-bleeding brake and clutch master cylinders derived from the elements present on the exclusive Superleggera V4.
