Ducati Panigale V2: the determination of the specimen at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli [VIDEO]

The roaring character of Ducati Panigale V2 is the protagonist in the film proposed by Ducati on the YouTube channel. From the view you can appreciate the sound and dynamism of the specimen, during a quick lap on the track Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

The motorcycle

Proposed in livery White Red and also in the well-known color Ducati Red, this sports car features a monocoque chassis cast in aluminium, connected to a Superquadro twin-cylinder engine which acts as a structural pivot.
The bike is equipped with a 43 mm Showa BPF (Big Piston Fork) and Sachs steering damper, while at the back there is an adjustable Sachs shock absorber. The saddle is placed at a height of 840 mm, the dry weight is 176 kg.
The braking system consists of discs 320 mm and a pair of Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers, with radial brake master cylinder in the front area; while in the rear area there is a single disc 245 mm which is combined with a Brembo caliper. Also highlighted are the wheels with 5-spoke sports rims 17 inches.
From an aesthetic point of view, the design is reminiscent of the powerful Panigale V4 without appendages and the light signature is equally distinctive. Among the interesting aspects also a color digital instrument panel from 4,3 inches and various systems including six-axis inertial platform, the A systemBS Cornering EVO and Riding Modes Race, Sport e Street.

Thruster

The twin-cylinder heart from 955 cc it is made up of cylinders arranged at 90° with an angle of 21° between the front cylinder and the horizontal plane. There is a compression ratio of 12,5:1 and the valves are managed by a Desmodromic system with sports-derived rocker arms with special DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) coating. The power reaches altitude 155 horses at 10.750 rpm with a torque of 104 Nm at 9.000 rpm. The propulsive heart is associated with a six-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift up/down EVO.
Also highlighted is a silencer with two larger and more functional catalysts, considering the regulations Euro 5.
