The production of the Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary it started in the Borgo Panigale factory. A series that commemorates the twentieth anniversary of champion Troy Bayliss winning the world championship success in Superbike in 2001.

Compared to the standard model, the Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary it is lighter than 3 kg, considering the use of a lithium ion battery and the single-seat configuration. Also of note: sports grips, rider's seat made by combining two technical materials with double red stitching and silencer end cover in carbon fiber and titanium. The number 21 connected to Bayliss is embroidered on the seat in white, and there are also two vertical bands of green and red. The passenger seat and footrests are available in the standard equipment.

Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary is developed starting from the Panigale V2 and presents a bold celebratory look. A livery defined with the in mind 996 R deployed in 2001 season, the bike ridden by the Australian on his way to winning the first of his three Superbike world titles.

Highlighted is the Ducati red color associated with Verde and White, also recalling the Italian character of the motorcycle manufacturer. The number 21 used in the race by Troy Bayliss appears on the sides and front and the Shell logo also appears, another reference to the racing model. The reproduction of Bayliss' autograph stands out on the tank and the name of the bike and the progressive numbering appear on the aluminum steering plate, machined from solid material.

From a technical point of view, the specimen was equipped with Öhlins solutions. Of note are an NX30 fork and a TTX36 rear shock absorber designed to maximize performance on the track, keeping in mind a set-up that optimizes precision and dynamism. The steering damper adjustments allow the calibration to be defined based on the driving style and type of circuit.
The model will be available in dealerships in the Ducati network starting from October.
