The motorcycle

Ducati Multistrada V4, Multistrada V4 S e Multistrada V4 S Sport they represent versions of a technological and versatile example.
The aesthetics are refined, aerodynamic and distinctive, starting from the front area, from the light clusters with a distinctive DRL light signature, full LED lights and Cornering Light system considering the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport, thus observing the superstructures, the deflectors, the vents that define its appearance and also the tank which can hold 22 litres. There is also a space at the height of the tank with a USB socket where it is possible to store, for example, a telephone connected via Wifi or Bluetooth to the interactive system.
The frame is monocoque, an aluminum structure in which the technical experience of the brand is noticeable as well as a two-element trellis rear. There is also a new double-sided swingarm and a 19-inch front wheel within a muscular and aerodynamic concept.
The wheelbase extends for 1.567 millimeters and the ground clearance reaches 220 mm, they are 46 mm more compared to the Multistrada 1260. The standard seat can be managed in two positions: 840 e 860 mm. It is possible to adopt a lowered saddle with 50 mm of foam for a height of up to 810 mm, or also opt for a saddle increased in thickness to 875 mm.
On a technical level, we also note: an adjustable front fork with 50 mm diameter upside-down legs and a rear mono-shock absorber, also adjustable, with remote management of the spring preload and a double-sided aluminum swingarm. According to the information, the wheel travel at the front and rear is 170 e 180 mm.
The braking system varies slightly from the Ducati Multistrada V4 model to the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport. Standing out are two 320 mm front discs with Brembo monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads or 330 mm on the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport with Brembo M50 Stylema® radial-mount monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads with radial master cylinder. At the back there is always a 265 mm disc and Brembo two-piston floating caliper. Always features a Cornering ABS system. The front wheel is 120/70 ZR 19, the rear 170/60 ZR 17.

Technology and power

On the Ducati Multistrada V4 example there is a figure 5-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, while the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport examples are equipped with a 6,5 inches with solutions such as Ducati Connect and a map navigator.
Among the notable technologies, we highlight the adoption of radar in the front and rear areas, associated with adaptive cruise control and the blind spot detection function.
Other solutions, together with Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection, include a latest generation Quick Shift, DTC, DWC, DQS, four Riding Modes (between Sport, Touring Urban and Enduro), Autolevelling, four Load modes depending on the load and over 400 parameter combinations for the semi-active Ducati Skyhook suspension on the Multistrada V4 S and V4 S Sport versions.
Il 4 cc V1.158 engine complies with standards Euro 5. The peak power is 170 horses at 10.500 rpm, while that of the torque of 125 Nm at 8.750 rpm. Values ​​to be considered against a dry weight of 215 kg in the case of the Multistrada V4, 218 kg for the V4 S and 217 kg for the V4 S Sport, as mentioned.
