Sensations of adventure and snowy landscapes emerge in the teaser video proposed by Ducati on YouTube. A new episode of “Riding SubZero” in the suggestive Iceland, on horseback Ducati Multistrada V4.

A model for athletes who love adventure

Among the technological solutions we also mention Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection, DTC, DWC, DQS, four Riding Modes choosing between Sport, Touring Urban and Enduro, then Autolevelling, latest generation Quick Shift, four Load modes depending on the load and still over 400 parameter combinations for the semi-active Ducati Skyhook suspension on the Multistrada V4 S and V4 S Sport models.
Also highlighted are the radar systems in the front and rear areas, associated with the adaptive cruise control and the blind spot detection function.

Technical features

The engine from 1.158 cc compliant with standards Euro 5 it is a unit V4 Grandtourism. The power reaches i 170 horses at 10.500 rpm, the torque hits peak 125 Nm at 8.750 rpm. Data to be evaluated against a dry weight of 215 kg if we consider the Multistrada V4, 218 kg for the Multistrada V4 S and 217 kg for the Multistrada V4 S Sport.
The monocoque chassis features an aluminum structure and a two-piece trellis rear structure. A new double-sided swingarm and a 19-inch front wheel are highlighted. The wheelbase extends for 1.567 millimeters and the ground clearance is 220 mm, 46 mm more than the Multistrada 1260.
The technical part includes a 50 mm diameter adjustable upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock, always manageable, with remote spring preload adjustment and aluminum double-sided swingarm. According to the information, the wheel travel at the front and rear reaches 170 and 180 mm.
The braking system changes slightly between the Ducati Multistrada V4 and the other Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport. We highlight two 320 mm front discs with Brembo monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads or 330 mm on Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport with Brembo M50 Stylema® radial-mount monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads with radial pump . In the rear area there is a 265 mm disc and Brembo two-piston floating caliper. Always features a Cornering ABS system.
The seat is adjustable to two positions: 840 and 860 mm. You can opt for a lowered saddle with 50 mm of foam reaching up to 810 mm, but also opt for a saddle increased in thickness reaching 875 mm. It features a 120/70 ZR 19 front wheel and a 170/60 ZR 17 rear wheel.
