Two color variations are foreseen: Ducati Red e Brushed Aluminum & Matt Black. The latter is characterized by an exposed brushed aluminum tank. Three different setups are also highlighted AdventureRadar with the functions of Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection; Adventure Travel & Radar which also includes heated grips and seats as well as aluminum side cases; In the end full adventure which in addition to the aforementioned equipment also features a carbon fiber front mudguard and an approved Akrapovič silencer.
Considering the presence of a passenger, comfort is refined, starting from a redesigned windscreen increased by 40 mm in height and 20 mm in width, together with an elongated tail with a rear attachment for suitcases, in order to facilitate greater space for the passenger in the leg area, also remembering the footrests with larger rubber inserts to reduce the margin of vibrations. The proposal of saddles with different heights for the rider and the passenger and the lowered suspension kit make the example adaptable to different torque configurations and, to improve comfort from a thermal point of view, the conveyors in the leg area can be partitioned preserving heat from the engine during cold seasons. The rims are spoked with a black channel.

The propulsive heart is a V4 Grandtourism da 1.158 cc. A new deactivation strategy extended to the entire rear bank was highlighted, even when moving at low speeds, with a limited rotation speed and a low torque demand. In addition to the rear cylinders switching off at idle with the bike stopped, the rear bank of the engine remains deactivated in other operating conditions. A technical solution proposed for the first time on a production motorcycle. The power reaches altitude 170 horses.
Over twenty years of evolution, passing between the 1100, 1200, 1260 models up to this fourth generation, various innovations have appeared on the Multistrada proposal such as the DVT variable valve timing and Riding Modes, but also other interesting technological solutions such as the semi-active Skyhook suspensions and the recent adoption of front and rear radar to support the Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection systems, in addition to sophisticated extended deactivation.
The new model features reinforced engine protection, an even more efficient Skyhook DSS EVO control strategy, semi-active suspension with increased travel of 200 mm, wider rider footrests and spoked wheels with low weight . There is also an Enduro Riding Mode with Power Mode aimed at off-roading.
Speaking of active safety, there is also ABS Cornering which allows the use of braking force even when leaning, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL) which intensify night visibility. Solutions operating with an inertial platform (IMU), the action is optimized based on the lean angle and pitch.
The instrumentation is visible on a 6,5-inch color TFT screen with map navigation functionality thanks to the Ducati Connect application.
