The new Multistrada V4 is a technological motorcycle, equipped with different systems also considering the different types of model: Multistrada V4, Multistrada V4 S e Multistrada V4 S Sport. First of all, the use of radar in the front and rear areas, associated with adaptive cruise control and the blind spot detection function.
Among the other solutions, in addition to the aforementioned Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection, there is also the latest generation Quick Shift, solutions such as DTC, DWC, DQS, four Riding Modes (between Sport, Touring Urban and Enduro), Autolevelling, four Load modes depending on the load and over 400 parameter combinations for the semi-active Ducati Skyhook suspension on the Multistrada V4 S and V4 S Sport versions.

The motorcycle

On the Ducati Multistrada V4 the TFT digital instrument cluster results from 5 inches, while on the specimens Multistrada V4 S e Multistrada V4 S Sport there is a screen from 6,5 inches with solutions such as Ducati Connect and a map navigator.
The V4 engine is from 1.158 cc, compliant with standards Euro 5. The maximum power reaches i 170 horses at 10.500 rpm with a torque peak of 125 Nm at 8.750 rpm. Values ​​to be considered with a dry weight of 215 kg in the case of the Multistrada V4, 218 kg for the V4 S and 217 kg for the V4 S Sport.

The chassis is monocoque, an aluminum structure derived from the brand's technical experience as well as a two-element trellis rear. In terms of aesthetics, the light clusters stand out with a distinctive DRL light signature, full LED lights and Cornering Light system considering the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport. Characteristic are the superstructures, the deflectors, the vents that define its appearance and also the tank which can hold 22 litres. Nearby there is a space where there is a USB socket and where you can store, for example, a telephone connected via Wifi or Bluetooth to the interactive system.
The model features a new double-sided swingarm and a 19-inch front wheel within a muscular and aerodynamic concept. The wheelbase is 1.567 mm, the height from the ground reaches 220 mm, i.e. 46 mm more in comparison with the Multistrada 1260 and the standard seat can be managed in two positions: 840 and 860 mm, being able to adopt a lowered saddle with 50 mm of foam for a height of up to to 810 mm or opt for a saddle increased in thickness to 875 mm.
Among the technical aspects also highlighted are a 50 mm diameter adjustable upside-down fork at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear, also adjustable, with remote management of the spring preload and a double-sided aluminum swingarm. The travel of the front and rear wheels is 170 and 180 mm, as reported.
The braking system varies slightly from the Ducati Multistrada V4 to the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport, noting two 320 mm front discs with four-piston Brembo monobloc calipers and two pads or 330 mm on the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport with Brembo M50 Stylema® radial-mount monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads with radial master cylinder. At the back there is always a 265 mm disc and Brembo two-piston floating caliper. Always features a Cornering ABS system. The front wheel is 120/70 ZR 19, the rear 170/60 ZR 17.
