Ducati Multistrada V4: start of production announced

The start of production of Multistrada V4 in the factory Ducati di Borgo Panigale. The fourth generation presented next 4th November. Among the innovations, the introduction of sophisticated radar technology on both sides of the vehicle is highlighted on this occasion.

Here are some photos that highlight the start of production. In evidence not only a new and performing one V4 engine, of which further information is awaited, but above all an unpublished one radar technology. An aspect that further enriches the technical qualities of this specimen.
According to what was announced, on fourth generation of Multistrada, the aforementioned radars located in the front and rear areas act as auxiliary devices, a solution that the Emilian company had been interested in for some time, collaborating with the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Polytechnic of Milan. Support systems that cannot be confused with autonomous driving systems, please remember. Therefore the driver always has control of the vehicle.
The front radar is connected to the adaptive cruise control, while the rear one acts as a detector of vehicles present in the so-called "blind spot" or arriving at a high speed, as emerged.
A new compact and lightweight V4 engine also debuts with the bike, as anticipated. Further information will be offered on October 15th.
