Based on what was reported in various specialized media, the appearance of the future Multistrada V4 it would be more advanced, more articulated and even more muscular than the current generation. For example, more generous front air intakes are mentioned, within a project also enhanced from a technological point of view with the adoption of a AREAS, citing cruise control and overall safety, as well as a large digital instrument cluster. Among the technical aspects, the bike could also benefit from a newly designed double-arm swingarm and there is also talk of the possible introduction of multiple versions, equipped with wheels of different sizes, underlining the eclectic nature of the specimen to tackle even the most demanding routes .
Returning to the engine, from what has emerged, based on documents filed with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the V4 engine of the next Multistrada appears to have a larger displacement than the V4 units present on the Panigale and Streetfighter models. They are noted 1.158 cc, i.e. 55 cc more compared to the 1.103 cc of the aforementioned V4. Engines which on the Panigale and Streetfighter respectively develop: 214 horsepower at 13.000 rpm and 124 Nm of torque at 10.000 rpm and 208 horsepower at 12.750 rpm with a torque of 123 Nm at 11.500 rpm.
An increase in volume that would lead to greater torque, in compliance with the new regulations, fueling an even more robust character and further functional dynamism.
