Through the Ducati Facebook page, Matt Evans was thanked for the evocative shot astride the new Multistrada V4. A specimen designed to explore, equipped with power and cutting-edge technological solutions.
Specifically, the specimens are distinguished Ducati Multistrada V4, Multistrada V4 S e Multistrada V4 S Sport. The appearance is refined, aerodynamic and functional; you can notice it starting from the front area and observing the characteristic light clusters equipped with a DRL light signature. We note LED lighting and Cornering Light system, considering the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport.
Also highlighted are the superstructures, vents and deflectors, as well as a tank that can hold 22 liters and a space at its height with a USB socket, where it is possible to store, for example, a telephone connected via Wifi or Bluetooth to the interactive system.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 model features a digital instrument panel TFT from 5 inches, while the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport models are equipped with a 6,5 inches with solutions such as Ducati Connect and a map navigator.
Among the notable technologies, the adoption of radar in the front and rear areas, associated with adaptive cruise control and the blind spot detection function, also stands out.
Other solutions, in addition to Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection, include a latest generation Quick Shift, DTC, DWC, DQS, four Riding Modes opting between Sport, Touring Urban and Enduro, then Autolevelling, four Load modes in operation load and over 400 parameter combinations for the semi-active Ducati Skyhook suspension on the Multistrada V4 S and V4 S Sport versions.

The chassis is of the monocoque type, an aluminum structure and a two-element trellis rear structure. There is also a new double-sided swingarm and a new front wheel 19 inches. The wheelbase reaches i 1.567 millimeters and the height from the ground is 220 mm, they are 46 mm more compared to the Multistrada 1260. The standard seat can be managed in two positions: 840 e 860 mm. It is possible to adopt a lowered saddle with 50 mm of foam for a height of up to 810 mm, but also lean towards a saddle increased in thickness by touching the 875 mm.
Among the technical solutions, we highlight a 50 mm diameter adjustable front upside-down fork and a rear mono-shock absorber, also manageable, with remote adjustment of the spring preload and double-sided aluminum swingarm. According to the information, the wheel travel at the front and rear reaches 170 and 180 mm.
The braking system varies slightly from the Ducati Multistrada V4 model to the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport. Standing out are two 320 mm front discs with Brembo monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads or 330 mm on the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport with Brembo M50 Stylema® radial-mount monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads with radial master cylinder. At the back there is always a 265 mm disc and Brembo two-piston floating caliper. Always features a Cornering ABS system. The front wheel is 120/70 ZR 19, the rear 170/60 ZR 17.
The propulsive heart from 1.158 cc it complies with Euro 5 standards. It reaches a power of 170 horses at 10.500 rpm, with a peak torque of 125 Nm at 8.750 rpm. Values ​​to be considered against a dry weight of 215 kg when talking about the Multistrada V4, 218 kg for the V4 S and 217 kg for the V4 S Sport, as reported.
