In the panorama of systems linked to the new Multistrada V4 overview, a package is indicated with Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection and DTC, DWC, DQS, as well as other solutions such as the latest generation Quick Shift, four Riding Modes opting between Sport, Touring Urban and Enduro; therefore Autolevelling, four Load modes depending on the load and over 400 parameter combinations for the Ducati Skyhook semi-active suspensions observing the Multistrada V4 S and V4 S Sport versions. Feisty and versatile qualities

Figure a lightweight aluminum monocoque frame derived from MotoGP experience. A project defined by various components such as a two-element rear trellis structure, light clusters with a distinctive light signature DRL, lights full-LED and Cornering Light system on Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport, deflectors, vents and superstructures.
The wheelbase is 1.567 mm with a height from the ground of 220 mm (46 mm more in comparison with the Multistrada 1260, as mentioned) and the standard seat can be managed in two positions at 840 and 860 mm, being able to adopt a lowered saddle with 50 mm of foam for a Height up to 810 mm. You can opt for a saddle increased in thickness reaching 875 mm.
The bike features a new double-sided swingarm and 19-inch front wheel, reinforcing a muscular, aerodynamic outlook with compact proportions and a 22-liter fuel tank. Nearby there is a space where there is a USB socket, where for example you can store a phone connected via Wifi or Bluetooth to the interactive system.
The 50 mm diameter upside-down front fork is adjustable like the progressive rear solution with mono-shock absorber and remote management of spring preload and aluminum double-sided swingarm. The wheel travel in the front and rear areas amounts to 170 and 180 mm respectively.
The braking system varies slightly between the Multistrada V4 and the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport, considering the two 320 mm front discs with four-piston Brembo monobloc calipers and two pads or 330 mm on the V4 S and V4 S Sport with Brembo M50 Stylema® radial-mount monobloc calipers with four pistons and two pads with radial master cylinder. At the back there is a 265 mm disc and Brembo two-piston floating caliper. Always features a Cornering ABS system. We note 120/70 ZR 19 tires in the front area and 170/60 ZR 17 tires in the rear area.

Motor

The configuration of the propulsive heart is V4 with cylinders arranged at 90° from 1.158 cc and compliance Euro 5. A valve clearance check interval of 60.000 km is noted. A power of indicated 170 horses at 10.500 rpm and a maximum torque of 125 Nm at 8.750 rpm. Thrust to be compared to a dry weight of 215 kg (in the case of the Multistrada V4, 218 kg for the V4 S and 217 kg for the V4 S Sport). Associated with this is a six-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down system.
