Ducati – Two years after the presentation of the Multistrada 1200 Enduro, the first Ducati in the travel enduro segment, arrives today Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro, a true globetrotter that the Borgo Panigale engineers have tried to improve to make it even more accessible, easy and fun to ride in any condition, knowing that they have a motorcycle in their hands that fully reflects the Ducati spirit.

Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro: how it's made

The new Multistrada 1260 Enduro features the Testastretta DVT engine di 1262 cm3 da 158 CV with phase variator which debuted last year on the Multistrada 1260. Compared to the previous version it gains 64 cm3 of displacement and a series of improvements which have allowed it to have an extremely flat and full-bodied torque curve starting from low revs which makes the bike more fun to drive. This allows you to change gear less frequently while enjoying nothing more than driving. The performance of the new Testastretta engine is never demanding and can be fully exploited thanks to the Riding Modes, the new Ride by Wire, which allows for even smoother and more pleasant accelerator management, and the DQS (Ducati Quick Shift) Up & Down , which significantly improves the driving experience thanks to fluid and precise gear changes both uphill and downshifting without using the clutch. The standard electronic equipment which includes Bosch Cornering ABS, Cornering Lights, Wheelie Control, Traction Control and Vehicle Hold Control represents the state of the art in the segment.

Thanks to the spoked wheels with 19" front and 17" rear, the Multistrada 1260 Enduro is the perfect motorbike for long adventurous journeys. Equipped with semi-active Sachs electronic suspensions with 185 mm of travel at both the front and rear with revised calibration and a 30-litre fuel tank, the Enduro is comfortable on any terrain and is also an unstoppable globetrotter, thanks to its autonomy which can even exceed 450 kilometers. The revised ergonomics, with the saddle, handlebars and center of gravity lowered compared to the 1200 version, and the updated suspension setup guarantee greater usability and riding fun for any rider and in all conditions. The new, sophisticated Human Machine Interface (HMI) allows you to intuitively manage all the functions and settings of the bike, including the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), through the 5" color TFT display and the handlebar controls. The DMS system allows you to connect the motorbike with the smartphone via Bluetooth and manage the most important multimedia functions (receiving phone calls, SMS notification, listening to music). The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is also equipped with cruise control and a hands-free system. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is compatible with the new Ducati Link App, thanks to which it is possible to set the travel mode and customize the parameters of each Riding Mode from your smartphone, in an intuitive way. Furthermore, the App makes available all the information on maintenance interval deadlines, the user manual and the Ducati Store locator. Finally, the Ducati Link App allows you to record your performances and travel itineraries in order to share your experiences riding the new 1260 Enduro.
