The dynamic qualities of the new Ducati Monster SP they are highlighted in the video proposed by Ducati on YouTube. It is another of the innovations introduced during the web series Ducati World Premiere 2023.

A new sporting concept

The recipe Monster it remains so, considering a chassis base of Superbike origin associated with a lively propulsive heart. The frame is of type Front Frame, recalls that of the Panigale V4. An aluminum solution bonded directly to the engine heads Testastretta 11° twin cylinder with desmodromic distribution featuring 4 valves and liquid cooled. I am 111 Horses of power reported.
The ability to close trajectories, precision, braking performance, limited load transfers are connected to various elements that make up the chassis.
It starts with a steering damper which strengthens stability during acceleration and cornering, together with the adoption of Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires as original equipment.
Among the interesting technical aspects, the fully adjustable Öhlins suspensions are also highlighted, including a fork that is 0,6 kg lighter than the one present on Monster e Monster+, achieving enhanced sensitivity along with an increase in ground clearance and lean angle, according to the information. The suspension system is also based on a sportier calibration, which intensifies the character of the bike on mixed sections and on the track.
There is also a more powerful braking system, given the adoption of Brembo Stylema® calipers and aluminum flanges for the 320 mm diameter front discs. Also in this case there is a weight reduction of 0,5 kg compared to the Monster equipment.
The overall weight containment also concerns the introduction of a lithium ion battery, reaching a savings of approximately 2 kg in running order compared to the traditional example, even considering the presence of elements such as the steering damper and the fairing.

Aesthetics

After the redefinition of the model, this new sporting evolution of the Monster is highlighted by aspects that support sporty driving and contribute to weight reduction, as mentioned.
One stands out new graphic design which recalls the colors of the Desmosedici GP fielded by the official team, but other details are also taken into account such as the large Ducati logo on the tank which draws inspiration from the graphics of the Ducati Panigale V4, the golden anodization of the Öhlins NIX30 fork, the saddle in red integrated into the side view with the tail, the same Monster SP logo on the passenger seat cover and a Termignoni approved silencer.

Technology

The electronic part is connected to the action of the Riding Modes and electronic controls, in order to maximize the qualities of the chassis, also taking into account the introduction of the new Riding Mode Wet for increased safety on wet surfaces.
Also mentioned are: ABS cornering, Ducati Traction Control e Ducati Wheelie Control, all adjustable to various levels, as well as a Launch Control and the aforementioned Riding fashion sport, Road e Wet. Management is possible through the controls located on the handlebars and a 4,3-inch color TFT instrument panel characterized by sporty graphics.

Availability

The new Ducati Monster SP is expected in dealerships across the network since January 2023, also offered in a weakened variant, for A2 license holders, from 35 kW.
