Ducati Monster 821: 25 years and not hearing them [Photos]

Twenty-five years ago, the Ducati Monster was presented for the first time at the Cologne show, today the latest version arrives at the Ducati World Premiere, with the same determination but with all the updates to improve the design and ease of riding.

The restyling on the Monster 821 is evident and profound, now the bike, like the Monster 1200, is slimmer, the tank and tail have been completely redesigned, there is a new exhaust and the shape of the headlight has also changed.

The engine is a liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° from the Monster 821, Euro 4 approved and is capable of delivering a maximum power of 109 HP (80 kW) at 9.250 rpm and a torque of 86 Nm at 7.750 rpm.

To guarantee the right safety, the motorbike is equipped with the Ducati Safety Pack which includes the Bosch Ducati Traction Control ABS and the Power Mode, all adjustable to different intervention levels, while the latter allows you to better manage the power and delivery.

The braking system consists of a 320 mm diameter double disc at the front and radial monobloc calipers.

The Monster 821 is available in three colors: Ducati Red, Black and Yellow.

The new stealth version will also be available, characterized by the exclusive matte black livery with dedicated graphics, 43 mm diameter adjustable Kayaba fork, front fairing and DQS up/down.
