Ducati – Sunday 4 November, on the occasion of the Ducati World Premiere which will be held in Milan, in addition to the new Ducati models for the 2019 season, the new e-mtb made in Borgo Panigale will also be revealed, the Ducati MIG RR, an enduro born from the collaboration between Rossa and the Italian company Wholesale Ebikes.

Ducati MIG-RR: how it's made

The e-mountainbike market segment is growing rapidly thanks to their mix of fun and performance. Ducati has decided to enter into it with both hands and to do so it has relied on the experience of a company specialized in the sector such as Thok Ebikes, born from the passion of the BMX and Down Hill champion, Stefano Migliorini. The Ducati MIG-RR, which will be exhibited as a world premiere at the Ducati stand at EICMA 2018, is a high-end e-mtb, developed by the Thok Ebikes specialists who relied on Aldo's D-Perf for design and graphics Drudi, with the support of the Ducati Style Center. The new Ducati e-mtb derives from the successful MIG series produced by Thok, but makes use of some exclusive technical solutions, such as the differentiated wheel diameter and suspension travel - 29" by 170mm at the front and 27,5" for 160mm at the rear - which makes it a real "enduro" capable of satisfying the needs of the most expert riders.

Equipped with high-end components, such as FOX Factory Kashima suspension, Renthal carbon handlebars, Mavic rims, Shimano Saint 4-piston brakes and Shimano XT 11-speed transmission, the MIG-RR is equipped with a Shimano Steps E8000 motor, with a power of 250Watt and torque of 70Nm, powered by a 504Wh battery. The positioning of the battery below the down tube guarantees a particularly low center of gravity which, combined with a specific frame geometry and suspension for e-mtb, makes the Ducati MIG-RR very easy to handle and reactive even on the roughest "single tracks". . The Ducati MIG-RR will be distributed throughout Europe through the Ducati dealer network and will be available starting from spring 2019 (from January 2019 it will also be possible to order it online on the website www.ducati.com).
