Ducati: the Panigale V4 also enchants the Autostyle Design Competition

Ducati – For the first time, in the fifteen year history of theAutostyle Design Competition, a motorcycle manufacturer was also invited to be part of this important event, which brings together the "elite" of international automotive design: the manufacturer in question is Ducati, which has always been an icon of style and elegance in motorcycle design, had the honor to be part of this event dedicated to automotive design and promoted by Berman SpA, a leading company in the production of car components.

Autostyle Design Competition: the event

The event was held on October 19th, at the suggestive location of Villa Di Bagno (Porto Mantovano) on the outskirts of Mantua. The Autostyle 2018 program saw, as per tradition, both the award ceremony of the special versions competition, dedicated to young students of international design schools, and the workshop held by the chief designers of the companies. As a corollary, the exhibition of twenty models, including prototypes, series cars and supercars launched during the year and, new to this fifteenth edition, the beautiful Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale, which has won the attention and admiration of all participants. One of this year's surprises was the first workshop dedicated to motorcycle design, thanks to the contribution of Andrea Ferraresi, Head of the Ducati Style Center, and Julien Clement, designer of the Panigale V4, who described the development of the latest creation among the Ducati Superbikes. The Borgo Panigale motorcycle company has thus confirmed the great attention it dedicates to design, to comparison with young designers and to the institutes that train them professionally. Ducati therefore continues its path of valorising talent, which already sees it as the protagonist of important initiatives alongside universities (the very recent MotoStudent and the various degree courses activated) and the Ministry of Education (the DESI project and Physics in Motorcycles ).
