Ducati: Monster turns 25

Ducati – Special anniversary a Borgo Panigale. Ducati, in fact, is celebrating 25 years of life of one of the most famous motorcycles ever, the Monster. After its presentation to the public and the press at the international "Intermot" fair in Cologne in 1992, and its subsequent entry onto the market in 1993, this iconic Ducati model radically changed the world of motorcycling, creating the unprecedented segment of sporty Nakeds and generating one of the most devoted communities of enthusiasts.

An important anniversary for Ducati, in full swing with activities and initiatives to celebrate the significant milestone. Among these is the Monster rally organized in France at the "Sunday Ride Classic 2018", an international event dedicated to collector's motorbikes, scheduled for the "Paul Ricard" Circuit in Le Castellet on the afternoon of March 24th. Ducati and the European DOC (Ducati Owners Club) involved for the occasion have called together the Monsteristas to create a parade on the track to celebrate the birthday in a spectacular way. The invitation to take part in this peaceful invasion of the circuit is open to all Monster owners, who just have to register for the event and go to the circuit. Exactly 25 years ago the first Monster left the Ducati production line in Borgo Panigale. This year, on the occasion of the anniversary, an original Monster 900 from 1993 is on display inside the Ducati Museum. The example, recovered through a passionate collector who preserved it in excellent condition, is ready to be admired by thousands of visitors to the Museum in the room dedicated to this iconic and historic motorcycle. Many other events, intended to celebrate the twenty-fifth birthday of the first Naked Ducati, are planned during World Ducati Week 2018, the largest Ducati rally in the world which, every two years, attracts and involves thousands of enthusiasts, scheduled for 20, 21 and 22 July 2018 at the "Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli" in Misano Adriatico. One more reason not to miss this exceptional event.
