Ducati: the four finalists of the second Custom Rumble
The winner will be chosen in July during World Ducati Week 2018
Ducati – The second edition of Custom Rumble, the international competition that, every two years, rewards the scrambler most beautiful customized, is reaching the final phase. After months of meticulous, artisanal and passionate work, there are four finalist motorbikes that will compete for victory.
The original proposals, created by customizers from all over the world, were voted directly on the scramblerducati.com website, which received over 200.000 votes. There are four categories in which you can participate: “Best Dealer” reserved for all official Ducati dealers, “Best Private Customizer” for all workshops specializing in customization, “Best Customer” dedicated to Scrambler customers and “Rookie Rumble”, for enthusiasts under 35 who have customized a Scrambler Sixty2. There are many different styles of specials proposed by the 132 participants: ranging from Café Racer style interpretations, to Bobber versions, as well as an electric “D-EV Project” version created by a Thai tuner.
The four finalist bikes divided into categories are:
Best Dealer: “ESG Rumble 400” proposed by Ducati Poland;
Best Private Customizer: “The Batass” created by Piotr, Poland;
Best Customer: “Black Ant” built by Sumalpan, Thailand;
Rookie Rumble: “Aree” signed by Tanapol, Thailand
All the participants in the “Custom Rumble” competition started working on their works last September; Online voting began at the end of October and continued until March this year. Finally, next July, during the largest Ducati gathering in the world, the "World Ducati Week”, scheduled for 20 to 22 July in Misano Adriatico, the most beautiful custom Scrambler among the four in the final will be decreed. The winner, who will win a trip for two to California, will be decided by a jury of experts, made up of designers, motorcyclists and customizers. The four finalists will be present at WDW 2018 together with their magnificent creations, which are already visible on the scramblerducati.com website or on the Instagram page dedicated to the initiative @customrumble.
