DUCATI GLOBETROTTER 90° – The fourth stage of the journey around the world aboard the Multistrada 1200 Enduro ended successfully. The Brazilian Eduardo Generali, after traveling 5.300 km on the roads that cross the West of the United States, arrived in Indianapolis passing the Globetrotter 90° torch to Steve Fraser. Steve, the fifth rider selected for this exciting journey, will continue the “coast to coast” journey from Indiana to New York.

An exciting stage, the one faced by the Brazilian globetrotter Eduardo Generali who, in 17 days, documented the trip to the USA, capturing images and sensations from the camera mounted on the Globetrotter 90° torch and recounting his experience through the online diary, constantly updated on the official website www .globetrotter90.ducati.com.

Eduardo defined his trip as “a unique emotion!”. The Brazilian globetrotter touched mythical and, at the same time, historic locations for Ducati. He entered the legendary Laguna Seca circuit with his motorbike, tackling the famous Corkscrew, the spectacular downhill "S" that saw unforgettable pages written in the history of motorcycling and Ducati. A circuit where Marco Lucchinelli, in 1986, achieved the first Italian victory in the AMA championship, from which the celebratory 750 F1 Laguna Seca series was born. And again, in 1995 and 1998, the Superbike races won by Troy Corser, then John Kocinski in 1996 and Anthony Gobert in 1999, Ben Bostrom in 2001, Troy Bayliss in 2002 and in 2003 Pierfrancesco Chili and Rubén Xaus. The Ducati MotoGP was also a protagonist on this circuit, just think of the victory of Casey Stoner who won the American race in 2007, a prelude to the final triumph of a season which saw the Desmosedici GP07 win the world title. The last indelible memory of this track is the double in 2015 when Chaz Davies won both Superbike races with the Panigale R.

From Laguna Seca, Eduardo visited Robb Talbott's new museum, in nearby Carmel Valley where many Ducati motorcycles are on display, some of which are truly special such as the 60 "1950 Sport" and the 125 "3 cm1951 Gran Sport". Carmel Valley reached Los Angeles where he met his father Ricardo, who wanted to join his "boyfriend"'s journey, crossing the Mojave Desert together and then reaching Death Valley. Breathtaking views and beautiful roads, which allowed us to pass the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and the Valley of the Gods in Utah, often driving the Multistrada 1200 Enduro off-road and then reaching the Backcountry Routes, the spectacular Colorado itinerary.

Climbs, descents, sand, gravel and rocks; After the passes of Ophir, Cumberland and Cottonwood, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, Eduardo reached Colorado Springs where he drove on the road leading to Pikes Peak. The most famous hill climb in the USA takes place here, the "race to the clouds" which Ducati won three consecutive times from 2011 to 2013 and to which the version of the Multistrada 1200 of the same name is dedicated. Having reached Denver, Eduardo greeted his father and he continued alone along the solitary highways that cross the great plains. Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, finally Indiana and Indianapolis where the most famous circuit in the world is located and where the American Nicky Hayden, in 2009, achieved his first MotoGP podium with Ducati.

Here, in the temple of engines, the passing of the baton with the fifth globetrotter: the Australian Steve Fraser. Steve is from Kalamunda, Western Australia. He is 50 years old and describes himself as a “professional photographer and adventurer”. A "landscaper", or a photographer specialized in portraying landscapes and spectacular panoramas. “My passion for motorbikes and love for photography have taken me all over the world. Traveling by motorbike taught me to look at life as it is, helping me to refine, but also challenge, my own character. During this adventure with Ducati my greatest desire is to be able to convey and share all the sensations that I am sure I will feel during the journey, sharing them with as many people as possible, trying to capture the soul of every place I will pass through." Steve said.

From Indianapolis, Steve will travel to Cincinnati and then Birmingham to visit two very important collectors who own authentic Ducati rarities. Then a long ride to the Daytona circuit, Florida and then arriving in New York.
