Ducati Garage Contest 2010, the challenge begins again

The idea is there, very clear in a corner of the mind and it screams to get out. The hands and tools do the impossible to turn the fruit of the imagination into reality. The hours pass quickly in the garage. You stop for a moment and remember the day you bought a legend with a desmo engine. But this wasn't enough for you: you wanted more. You wanted a unique motorbike: the first example of a new species, never seen in this part of the universe. It's no longer time to dream, one last touch up on the graphics and it's already June.

The speakers of Misano are calling you!

Three years have passed since we last met: we've done some great things in this time, now it's your turn. Three years ago, on the occasion of yet another success of the DGC at WDW2007 Misano, a river of trellis frames, dry clutches and artisanal swingarms overwhelmed the sleepless Romagna Riviera. This year we want the river to break its banks, in an overflowing challenge that no one will be able to help but witness. In our hearts we know that you will not disappoint us: we have heard the rattling of your tools during these years, we have seen your creatures in previous editions, now we are eager again to see and show what you are capable of doing.

The 2010 Ducati Garage Contest will, as always, be divided into two main moments: the first part will take place solely through the pages of the WDW website. You must send us a photo of your creature and the completed form to articles@ducati.com, no later than May 16, 2010.
We at Ducati will choose the 10 "divas" who will show off themselves at Misano. The second part of the competition will take place directly at WDW2010: the 10 selected motorbikes will have to stop, for the entire duration of the WDW (from 10 to 13 June 2010), in a dedicated and protected area where the sector magazines will be able to organize sets photos and where the WDW public will be able to vote for them directly. It will therefore be the unquestionable popular jury that will issue the final judgement, awarding a coveted prize to the best special.

Not only! The official Ducati Corse riders will also participate in the fantastic competition and will choose the queen of the competition, and a special Ducati technical jury will express its opinion on what you can do. The admiration and respect on the part of the entire Red Planet for those who will tread the hot asphalt of the challenge will however be the best recognition!
