The framework collaboration agreement between Ducati andUniversity of Bologna for another three years. An agreement that continues since 2015, enhancing the exchange of knowledge between business and universities thanks to a shared policy.

The education activities developed by Ducati are designed in collaboration with the world of schools, universities and research, keeping in mind the same heritage of human, technical and professional skills of the Emilian company reality.
The University of Bologna and the manufacturer of Borgo Panigale have been working together for some time also on an educational level, considering a program of Motorcycle Engineering inside the master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. And still speaking of synergies, the Unibo MotoStudent project, the Racing Team of the University of Bologna which has defined a prototype of an electric racing motorcycle, engineered and built by a group of Unibo Engineering students, supported by the Ducati Foundation and followed by the company's engineers.

Through the various opportunities for collaboration between the University and the motorcycle company, students can follow lessons, carry out internships, develop thesis projects, and give shape to what they have learned in the classroom together with Ducati engineers.
Furthermore, Ducati and the University of Bologna are founding members of a unique reality of its kind, the Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna (MUNER), which brings talents from all over the world to the region to train new future automotive protagonists.
In the context of research activities in collaboration with the University of Bologna, a first project has already been signed and will start in the next few weeks, involving a group of researchers from the Department of Industrial Engineering on the topic ofAdditive Manufacturing, as reported.
