Ducati e Safety 21 have signed a three-year partnership for the creation of events and communication campaigns to promote the culture of road safety.

Safety 21 is an Italian company that offers public bodies and police forces advanced platforms and innovative outsourcing services for improving road safety standards.

The collaboration between the two companies was born within the project "I love you". This is a plan created in collaboration with the Department of Psychology of “La Sapienza” University of Rome, to promote a stronger collective culture of road safety education.

The Bolognese house, through the Ducati foundation, will promote responsibility through social, training and information initiatives. A series of Ducati testimonials, including the rider Dario Marchetti, will enter Italian schools with events and initiatives aimed at involving young people, conveying the values ​​of safe driving.

Luigi Torlai, Director of Human Resources and Managing Director of the Ducati Foundation, declared: “The purpose of the Ducati Foundation is to dedicate commitment and resources to the protection and conservation of the Ducati historical heritage, as well as to propose activities aimed at Education and Road Safety. Since 2008, a real bridge has been created between school and business, thanks to specific projects that make Ducati's wealth of human, technical and professional skills available in meetings with teachers and students. The many activities aimed at social responsibility were equally effective and active. By supporting the Safety21 project, the Ducati Foundation creates further synergy between the proposed initiatives, reinforcing and confirming the attention that the company dedicates to the important issue of road safety".

The CEO of Safety21, Gianluca Longo, then added: “Social commitment has always been a priority for Safety21: alongside investments in technology, road safety awareness and training projects play a fundamental role in a context which is recording more and more victims on the road. We are proud of this partnership with Ducati which will allow us to strengthen the awareness message on safety issues with initiatives aimed at the world of two wheels, while maintaining the European objective of reducing road fatalities by 50%, which alongside institutions and PA we compete with our business."
