Platum – the Platform of Urban E-Mobility, an Italian R&D, engineering and distribution hub, took shape in January 2022 with the aim of defining future urban electric mobility.

New compact and foldable models

Le SCR-X e SCR-E GT they feature a foldable aluminum frame and the batteries are protected and integrated into the frame. They are also removable for easy loading. A waterproof LCD display allows the management of the main functions, such as activating the lights and choosing between the different levels of assistance. They feature front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with cut-off sensor for a consistent braking experience.
Both e-bikes are expected to be available from mid-July at Ducati dealerships, as well as in shops and the main specialized and consumer electronics online stores.

The specialised farming model SCR-X it is designed for purely urban contexts and is equipped with a suspension fork and a practical integrated rear rack, which can support up to 25 kg of load. The battery is 499Wh and promises up to 80 km of autonomy with a full charge, at a maximum speed of 25 km/h, according to the indications. Features 20″ x 4.0″ urban wheels.

La SCR-E GT is aimed at adventure enthusiasts, given the off-road type wheels and measuring 20″ x 4.0″, as well as full suspension support offered by the front suspension fork and central shock absorber.
An e-bike designed for those who want to tackle routes with different types of road surfaces or country roads. It is powered by a 614Wh battery which, also in this case, offers up to 80 km of autonomy with a full charge.

Both models of the Ducati Urban e-mobility line are equipped with an enhanced 48V Bafang rear engine which offers a transmission torque of 60 Nm, furthermore there is a seven-speed Shimano Tourney gearbox and a latest generation control unit which, considering the Energy efficiency, extends battery life, avoiding waste.
