Ducati and Mondottica present the Ducati eyewear collection

Ducati Motor Holding e Mondottica, a globally established company in optical frames and sunglasses, presents the first collection of Ducati eyewear, the result of the constructive collaboration born between the two brands.

The Ducati eyewear collection, consisting of 5 lines for a total of over 90 products, reflects the most current trends. Thanks to the wide variety of models, both with a sporty design and heritage style and colours, Ducati glasses are able to meet different tastes and satisfy enthusiasts who make Ducati a lifestyle. Mondottica interprets the Ducati style in a mix of shapes and functionality, offering frames characterized by a balance that combines tradition and innovation. High-tech materials, clean and essential lines, cutting-edge design: Ducati glasses are intended for those who want to experience their style and passions through attention to detail. In addition to the design philosophy, Mondottica has introduced, for the first time, an innovative elastic hinge in the temples, characterized by a visible spring that provides greater strength while maintaining high levels of comfort. The hinge, a distinctive feature of the Ducati eyewear collection, represents an important product innovation, which allows the glasses to have greater stability in the event of loosening of the hinge screws. Testimonial of the sun line is Andrea Dovizioso, official pilot of MotoGP Ducati Team, who personally participated in the development of the sunglasses model dedicated to him "Signature Style AD/04". Featuring a square profile, finished in satin black with red interior, it has non-polarized red mirrored lenses, for distortion-free vision behind the visor.

The optical collection is made up of 14 models, created and designed to reflect Ducati style and performance. Also in this case the glasses have an elastic hinge, making them comfortable for those who use them daily. All models, in acetate or metal, are available in different colors. The new Ducati eyewear collection will be available globally starting from May 2018, in optical stores and in a selection of Ducati Stores.
