Ducati and AMG make an agreement

The German car manufacturer Mercedes and the Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, on the occasion of the opening of the 2010 Los Angeles Motor Show, scheduled in the United States from 19 to 28 November, have made it official that they have signed a collaboration agreement, using as a seal of this very heterogeneous liaison the two models of the respective most recently created product ranges: on the one hand, the new four-door coupé in sporty style, the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG, a luxury car with a 5,5 liter petrol engine (which debuts precisely in Los Angeles, within the automotive event), on the other, the new extreme naked from Borgo Panigale, Ducati Diavel, officially presented at Eicma 2010.

How can two such different companies meet in a commercial relationship? Well, the operation has the character of marketing, nothing more. Meaning what? The manufacturer of the Three-Pointed Star, Mercedes, becomes the official partner of the Ducati Corse team for the international MotoGP Championship, while the Borgo Panigale maison will participate in some AMG events, during which customers of the Stuttgart sports sector will be able to test the motorcycle from the Italian company's range.
