Ducati, DRE Champs Day: passion and sportsmanship at Misano [VIDEO]

Last 16 July al Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli several enthusiasts have lived the experience of DRE Champs Day, summarized in a film proposed by Ducati on Youtube.

The event

During DRE Champs Day three driving sessions were carried out on the track Ducati Panigale V2 o Panigale V4 S with the expert instructors of the DRE. On this occasion, participants had the opportunity to have the secrets of the Romagna track explained to them by drivers Scott Redding and Michael Rinaldi. On the same occasion, Giovanni Crupi, Redding's track engineer, also spoke about the preparation for the race weekend and the work on the setting of Redding's bike, as did the technical director of the DRE Racetrack Academy Dario Marchetti during the briefing.

A "DRE Rookie Essentials" was also reported, a space for young drivers between 18 and 24 years old with an A2 license. A contained variant of the "DRE Rookie Academy" format to refine control and driving style, considering teaching moments and practical exercises in the paddock of the track. The new one is available for this activity Monster, SuperSport 950 and "800" of the overview Scrambler® Ducati, as indicated above.

In summary: a day in which the enthusiasts present were able to ride a Panigale on one of the most famous circuits internationally and meet the Ducati riders competing in the World Superbike Championship, but also take a test ride on the new Ducati Multistrada V4 S starting from the circuit and on an ad hoc route designed to test the characteristics of the model, accompanied by a team of Ducati professionals.

Furthermore, e-bike enthusiasts had the opportunity to learn about the Ducati electric mountain bikes powered by Thok, TK-01RR e Mig-S on the occasion of an organized tour in the Romagna hills.
