The new model

The new Ducati Diavel V4 it is offered in the classic Ducati Red shade and in Thrilling Black, a glossy black livery. An extended deactivation system for the rear cylinders is also highlighted, an aspect that allows the unit to act as a twin-cylinder or as a four-cylinder with an imperceptible transition and a variation in the tone of the noise when switching from one mode to another. A functional factor also in terms of efficiency.
The performance of the V4 Granturismo engine, recalling the presence of a 240/45 rear tire and a dedicated ratio, allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, according to the information.
The braking system with 330 mm discs and Brembo Stylema® calipers transmits notable sports performance, with peak deceleration values ​​of 11,5 m/s2, thanks to a targeted calibration of the ABS system.

Technical and technological aspects

For the passenger, there is a welcoming seat and footrests capable of retracting under the tail, together with a retractable telescopic rear handle. The footrests and handle are covered in the closed position, given the presence of a cover for the passenger seat supplied as standard and installable.
The electronic systems can be managed via backlit controls on the handlebars and the bike is equipped with a new instrument panel 5 inch color TFT with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones for the use of various functions such as a turn-by-turn navigation system offered as an accessory, via the Ducati Link App.
Expected three Power Modes e four Riding Modes, being able to opt between Sport, Touring, Urban and a new Wet program designed for driving on wet surfaces, for example. The Riding Modes allow the management of the supply and intervention of the driving assistance systems Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Traction Control in Cornering and ABS Cornering versions, based on needs. A Launch Control was also reported.
Support is also provided by the Cruise Control during motorway journeys, just as the Ducati Quick Shift up/down supports the use of the gearbox.
