Ducati Diavel V4: double prize for the muscle cruiser from Borgo Panigale

A little more than one year from its presentation, Ducati Diavel V4 it is having great success and receiving numerous international awards, thanks mainly to a muscular and sporty design. The new year also started with two awards for this model: the Good Design Award in Chicago and the Special Mention at the German Design Awards 2024.

The two prizes

Il Good Design Award it was established in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, and is the oldest and most appreciated design award in the world. In this 2023 edition, the Good Design jury selected over 1.100 nominations from over 55 nations to award the Good Design® Awards for Design Excellence.

I German Design Awards they are awarded every two years by the jury of the German Design Council. This is an award in the field of design awarded by the Rat für Formgebung, and sponsored by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology.

The Diavel

The Diavel V4 had previously obtained other accolades, such as the title of 'Most Beautiful Motorcycle' of EICMA 2022, as well as awards received in the United States, Switzerland and even the Philippines. Given the great success, it was also the subject of the partnership between Ducati and Bentley, with the creation of a collection model, called Ducati Diavel for Bentley.

This is a numbered series motorcycle limited to 500+50 copies. In addition to the 500 units expected, the Italian brand has proposed a series of just 50 Diavel for Bentley Mulliners, which takes its name from the department where special cars and Bentley one-offs are made.
