Ducati: the Multistrada V4 remains the best-selling model

In the first six months of the year the results are good Ducati, despite challenges related to logistics and procurement. From January to June 2022 the brand's revenues increased by 5,4%, from 514 to 542 million euros. The highest value ever recorded by the motorcycle manufacturer in the first six months of the year, as reported. The best-selling motorcycle remains the same Ducati Multistrada V4.

Delivered in full 33.265 bikes, containing the delivery differential to -3,6% compared to the same period of 2021 (34.515). A value obtained through flexibility and constant dialogue with partners and the union, while considering the difficulties of the supply crisis, as mentioned.
Also interesting is the operating profit figure, an increase of 14,8% from 59 to 68 million euros when compared with the same period of time last year.
THEItaly remains the first market for the Emilian brand, given the 6.028 motorcycles delivered. North America follows with 5.239 vehicles, Germany with 3.745 and France with 2.647 units. The data referring to China also increases, a percentage growing by 12% with the entry of 2.411 motorbikes.
In light of the solid financial position, Ducati continues its development path for further growth, also through access to other segments, always in line with the values ​​of “Style, Sophistication, Performance”.

Another crucial aspect is the constant improvement and expansion of the global sales network. Through the digitalisation of processes and omnichannel in dealers, the aim is to offer a significant experience to enthusiasts, recalling the aforementioned company values. At the moment the Ducati network is made up of 797 dealerships in over 90 countries worldwide, 21 of these opened in the first six months of the current year.
The specialised farming model Ducati Multistrada V4 continues and be the best-selling one. Since its presentation in 2020, this motorcycle has attracted the attention of numerous motorcyclists and is also the most delivered motorcycle during the first half of 2022 with 6.139 units. They follow the Monster with 4.776 motorcycles entered and the overview of Scrambler® 800 with 3.999 specimens.
