Ducati – News coming to the house Ducati Motor Holding. Society, in fact. just announced that Andrea Buzzoni has left the position of Global Sales and Marketing Director and that two new Directorates have been established within the Board of Management: the Global Sales and After Sales Directorate, whose responsibility is entrusted to Francesco Militia, and the Marketing and Community Department, whose responsibility is assumed on an interim basis by Claudio Domenicali.

The two new Directors replace the position previously held by Andrea Buzzoni. Buzzoni, in the role of Global Sales and Marketing Director, contributed to the achievement of sales records in the three-year period 2015-2017, gave a strong boost to the global strategy of qualitative and quantitative growth and strengthened the medium-term sales and marketing processes and long term. Furthermore, he coordinated the launch and consolidation of the new Scrambler brand and strengthened the positioning and sales of the top of the range Supersport segment. Andrea Buzzoni will however remain in the Volkswagen Group and his new role will be announced shortly. Milicia, 43 years old, graduated in mechanical engineering, after starting his career in Ducati in 1999 in the Operations area, in 2005 he moved to China in the Ariston group, covering the role of Managing Director of Thermowatt. Having returned to Italy, in 2009 he became CEO of Elco Italia. In 2012 he returned to Ducati with the role of Managing Director Ducati Motor Thailand, before returning to Borgo Panigale in 2015, joining the Ducati Board of Management as Supply Chain Director (Purchasing and Logistics). Federico Sabbioni, who with his new role also becomes part of the Board of Management, takes over from Francesco Milicia in the role of Supply Chain Director. Sabbioni, 41 years old, mechanical engineer, has been with Ducati since 2002 where he gained important experience in the field of Product Development, first in R&D as Project Engineer, then in the Project Management function, until becoming Head of Vehicle Project Management for some of the families of the most strategic products in the Ducati range (Multistrada, Scrambler® and Hypermotard). The Board of Management of Ducati Motor Holding is now composed of: Claudio Domenicali (President), Silvano Fini (Production Director), Andrea Forni (Research and Development), Francesco Milicia (Global Sales and After Sales), Federico Sabbioni (Supply Chain ), Oliver Stein (Finance, Controlling and IT) and Luigi Torlai (Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility).
