Ducati 848 EVO 2011, new version with 140 horsepower

Ducati, the motorcycle manufacturer from Borgo Panigale, presents the new 848 EVO, a sort of new version which replaces the previous 848 from 2008 and which brings visible and invisible changes, ironing out some defects of the motorcycle: in fact, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer itself admitted that she turned to the riders who used the 848 two-wheeler on a daily basis to learn about its defects, with the aim of solving them.

The new Ducati 848 EVO maintains the same displacement, 849 cubic centimeters, and the same engine, a liquid-cooled L-twin Testastretta, but offers a new injection, a new control unit and greater power, which reaches 140 horsepower, with an increase in torque of 2 Nm, reaching 98 Nm. Together with these details, the braking system with Brembo Monobloc caliper has also been made more efficient, in order to support the increase of six horsepower.

Furthermore, the new Ducati 848 EVO 2011 maintains the same weight, 168 kilograms, and the same technical architecture: double under-seat silencers, single-sided swingarm, trellis frame, bodywork inspired by the world of Ducati racing and new steering shock absorbers.

The Borgo Panigale manufacturer declared that the new Ducati 848 EVO 2011 guarantees greater efficiency in everyday riding as well as in the most extreme ones, borrowing the experience gained in Superbike.

Ducati 848 EVO 2011 will be delivered to customers who order it from next September, offered from this month in the classic Ducati Red colour, with red frame and fairing and black alloy wheels, for around 12.600 euros, and in the "Dark Stealth" version , with racing frame, fairing and black alloy tyres, at a price of around 11.800 euros.
