DoubleR RaceAir, this is how BMW and Dainese come together for the safety of motorcyclists

Last week, at 71st edition of Eicma, the Milan International Motorcycle Show, BMW presented the DoubleR RaceAir, the BMW suit made with technology Dainese D-air® racing.

This is the first product that the Munich company has presented to the market after signing a cooperation agreement with Dainese for the development of systems aimed at improving the passive safety of motorcyclists.

D-air® it is the result of a technological leap that breaks away from the traditional approach of normal protections and introduces an intelligent platform capable of identifying the accident and intervening independently of the pilot's will.

The union of the know-how and experience of the German company, a giant in the automotive world, with the Molvena company, world leader in the production of technical motorcycle clothing, will concretely improve the safety of motorcyclists.

BMW's next goal is to launch the D-air® Street, the road airbag developed by Dainese, as an original equipment technology on its motorbikes.

The partnership between Dainese and BMW has as its common denominator safety in its most complete sense. Safety of the motorcyclist, of the vehicles, of the technical material to be worn, up to the awareness of the users themselves through a constant training process.
