In the year of Italian success in the most important international off-road sporting event, the Six Days of Enduro held on the hills of the Oltrepò Pavia area, the contents of the Decree of 28 October published in the Official Journal on 1 December attract the attention of Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle and Motorcycle Accessories) e IMF, the Italian Motorcycle Federation. Both indicate their contrary opinion towards the provision that would prohibit ordinary transit from forestry and silvo-pastoral roads.

The most drastic comment

ANCMA e IMF, awaiting further initiatives, have initiated discussions with the Government to obtain clarifications and a correction of the provisions contained in the Decree.
The released press release states: “This is a short-sighted rule, which can potentially create serious economic damage to the market, to the entire supply chain, to recreational and sporting activities and to those linked to hospitality and tourism. There are also possible profiles of unconstitutionality, because there is clearly a lack of balancing of the interests at stake and of constitutional rights such as free movement, the right to free economic initiative and the right to carry out sporting and recreational activities."
It should also be remembered that on the one hand the two-wheel industry generates a total value of over 7 billion euros in Italy and employs more than 100 thousand workers in its supply chain, on the other the sporting activity of the sector with more than 117 thousand members structured in 1760 Moto Club in the area.
