In over 350 m105 it is possible to admire the past, present and future of this specialized company, taking a look at the products, meeting guests from the racing world, observing interesting vehicles in person and seeing a preview of the innovative E-electric propulsion project Power for urban mobility. Radio XNUMX is also present on the occasion as media partner.
Among the examples on display: a historic RA 18 carburettor made in 1935, the latest generation PCB-less electronic throttle bodies, the new DO Power 1 control unit used in Moto3 and a Euro 5 plus electronic injection system with traction control.
Among the two-wheeled vehicles, the Moto GP of Alex Marquez (Team LCR) and the Moto Ohvale GP-0 used in the FIM Mini GP World Series equipped with Dellorto components stand out.
Regarding the E-Power project, it is an innovative electric propulsion system. An idea born in 2019 from the collaboration between Dellorto and Energica Motor Company and further developed with the contribution of the Reinova team for component development, testing and validation operations.
A high performance electric motor was obtained, currently available in 2 power sizes. The E-Power system uses a 48V battery and includes the electric motor and the electronic module. The system is rechargeable through normal 220V domestic sockets.
Initially oriented towards urban mobility, this project is projected in the future towards other sectors such as industrial machinery, logistics, garden applications, karts, scooters and more.
Together with the E-Power project, we also note the first laboratory prototype of the CEMP project, co-financed by the Lombardy Region and the European Union. In this case, the potential of electric propulsion stands out further, thanks to the integration of advanced connectivity and driving support systems. Dellorto is the leader of this idea whose partnership includes Octo Telematics, Energica and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, as mentioned.
