David Beckham becomes The Stranger for Belstaff and Triumph [PHOTO and VIDEO]

The short directed by Harvey Keitel will be released tomorrow in its entirety

David Beckham – David Beckham, in collaboration with Belstaff, created two motorcycle jackets and shot a short film with director Harvey Keitel, entitled “Outlaws for Belstaff”. It's all part of the new The Stranger advertising campaign.

Belstaff is synonymous with jackets, especially for motorcyclists and David Beckham is a motorbike enthusiast, often spotted by paparazzi while speeding around London or Los Angeles on his chopper. "When I started riding motorcycles in LA I found a vintage Belstaff jacket in a shop, it still remains one of my favorites today. Since I had the opportunity and privilege to collaborate on two capsule collections for the brand, all the pieces are inspired by my love for motorbikes, essential and comfortable. The biker jacket is the mix between functionality and provocation, beautiful and always sexy.” declared the former footballer speaking of “Outlaws for Belstaff”, directed by the legendary Harvey Keitel.

David Beckham is linked to Belstaff and shot the short film entitled “Outlaws for Belstaff” for the English brand, in which the former footballer takes on the character of The Stranger, a miserable vagabond motorcyclist who travels around Mexico riding a Triumph Bonneville 1100 (which will, however, take the name of Bonneville Street Tracker, a trademark registered by Triumph last year) one of the Triumph innovations which, thanks to the oversized and liquid-cooled engine, will revolutionize the Classic family. A real preview that makes us understand how the new model will arrive in dealerships in 2016, after the official presentation at EICMA. The video will be released in definitive form tomorrow 22 September, while we can already see the trailer and the interview with David Beckham.

David Beckham for Belstaff is “The Stranger”, a man whose anonymity and courage can upset the status quo and inspire lost souls. We meet him where he feels most comfortable, on the road, alone, lost in the dusty Mexican landscape among his memories of him. He's a man used to relying on nothing more than his own wits and above all his motorcycle. Beckham's fame has transcended his world-class football career to include the full range of sport and he is now synonymous with fashion and a cultural icon. Now the British champion is the face and soul of Belstaff, but above all the one who introduced us to the new Bonneville Street Tracker.
