Sales data: the words of Andrea Dell'Orto

Andrea Dell'Orto, President of Confindustria ANCMA – National Cycle Motorcycle Accessories Association, can only be satisfied with these numbers: “Once again our market provides a positive contribution, despite a worsening of the economic situation. This year we hope to increase sales with a positive balance of around 11.000 vehicles more than last year. The trend of the economic situation is not helping, with stagnant industrial production and declining business confidence. The financial markets are in tension and domestic demand is weak, but the greatest concern concerns the measure which risks increasing taxation for companies. For our part and above all thanks to the success of EICMA, which is growing and increasingly becoming the international reference for the sector, with exhibitors from 44 countries, we demonstrate the vitality of our companies and the desire to grow. Despite the constant recovery since 2014 we still have to multiply our efforts to return to pre-crisis volumes. The hundreds of previews that have impressed the public of enthusiasts give us hope for next year too. We are counting on a fruitful dialogue with the executive to seize all the opportunities related to two wheels, to encourage investments dedicated to innovation and for a positive evaluation of our proposals regarding safety and infrastructure. With these premises, the sector will continue its virtuous path of development".
