Dainese Settantadue: love, innovation and technique can now be worn
CEO Cristiano Silei: "We want to convey to everyone the emotions you feel when entering our Molvena Archive"
Dainese – After 24 months of careful research and study, Dainese revealed the face of the new brand which becomes part of the Group's family of brands. Dainese Seventy-two, this is its name, presents itself as the contemporary interpretation of the history of motorcycle clothing, with technical garments dedicated to lovers of motorcycles as a cult object, which draw inspiration from the enormous design heritage of the parent company.
The project was explained directly by the CEO Christian Silei"We want to convey to everyone the emotions you feel when entering our Molvena Archive. Dainese Settantadue was born exactly from this thought. History, beauty and contemporaneity are the three values on which we founded the new brand, which, in perfect harmony with our history and our roots, reinterprets the technical garment to embrace an even wider audience".
Dainese Settantadue combines love, innovation, technological research, passion for design and style. “To create Dainese Settantadue I immersed myself for weeks in our immense archive, seeking inspiration from the great stylistic collaborations of the past, from Yohji Yamamoto to Valextra”, says the artistic director Renato Montagner who then adds: “The first production will be a selection of aesthetic statements, just waiting to come to life in the arms of kindred spirits. It will be authentic, progressive, sophisticated, without compromising either quality or details".
The leather jacket is at the center of the story told by the first collection: an evergreen through which to enjoy the small and large pleasures that life offers us. And Dainese Settantadue is imbued with exquisitely crafted and precious pleasures, thanks to cutting-edge manufacturing techniques and constructions that guarantee maximum protection and an elegance tuned to the present but rich in memory
