Dainese participates in CES 2016

Dainese  – Dainese will be present for the first time at the 49th edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will be held in Las Vegas from 5 to 8 January. The iconic Italian brand, absolute leader in the production of protective clothing for motorcycling, mountain biking, winter sports and horse riding, will present its collection of D-air clothing at the international event, which in 2016 attracted 177.293 visitors from all over the world.

By participating in CES, organized by the Consumer Technology Association and typically associated with software and electronic gadgets, Dainese reiterates its commitment to the dissemination of D-air technology,
clothing with latest generation airbag technology designed by the Italian company for dynamic sports. D-air products are already used by the best MotoGP riders, as well as the best athletes in the Alpine Skiing World Cup. To detect dangerous situations and inflate the airbag bag, the heart of the system, within milliseconds, the D-air stand-alone wireless platform uses latest generation electronic sensors installed in the back protector and a sophisticated algorithm, which together represent the brain and the true intelligence of the system. Thanks to the internal microfilament structure, the airbag bag allows controlled inflation along the entire surface and develops around the body and shape of the rider well before impact. Depending on the configuration, the areas covered range from the neck, shoulders, false ribs, chest and back. The system is approved by well-known independent certification bodies and is the result of 35 registered patents.
