Continental: two new products arrive for 2019 and the range of motorcycle inner tubes expands

For 2019 the Continental family is expanding, with a new range of tires for road, off-road and scooter motorcycles.

Before seeing in detail the exclusive innovations presented at EICMA 2018, it is interesting to look towards the evolution that the company is carrying out in terms of innovation and safety. The clear example is the expansion of the range of motorcycle inner tubes, made of butyl and equipped with a dust cap. They are available in diameters: from 16 to 21 inches for the road, from 18 to 21 inches in the heavy-duty version for off-road vehicles, from 8 to 13 inches for scooters and from 16 to 22 inches for mopeds and mopeds.

The new ContiTrailAttack 2019 and ContiScoot will debut in 3. The first is a versatile tire that promises excellent performance both off-road and on asphalt, both dry and wet, and which reaches the optimal operating temperature after a kilometer and a half. The ContiTrailAttack 3 is built with an ultra-resistant central tread and softer side bands, which guarantees excellent grip when leaning. The MultiGrip technology and the tread design with a special groove allow and promise the ContiTrailAttack 3 to maintain its performance unchanged throughout its useful life. Reliability, precise handling, high ride comfort characterize this new technological protagonist on the market. The ContiScoot, on the other hand, is a scooter tire made with the same construction techniques used for motorcycle products. It takes the shape of the tread grooves from the ContiRoadAttack 3 and has a compound that guarantees optimal water drainage. The development focused on ensuring maximum safety on urban routes, often full of dangers, and guaranteeing high mileage.
