Reactions from Confindustria ANCMA

From the words of Andrea Dell'Orto, President of Confindustria ANCMA, all the positivity of the moment shines through: “The performance of the first seven months of the year and the confirmation of July volumes for the two-wheeler market give us a glimpse of another satisfactory year. The macroeconomic indicators are contradictory, both regarding the rather stagnant production and the declining exports. The business confidence index is decreasing and domestic demand is weakening, while employment is decreasing slightly, but fixed-term contracts are increasing - he has declared -. In this context, our market is bucking the trend and contributing positively, even if the recovery of pre-crisis volumes is still far away. Greater sensitivity is needed for the safety of those who use two wheels, through an improvement in infrastructure with dedicated investments. Confindustria Ancma is moving to make the validity of our proposals clear to new political interlocutors, with priority given to relaunching the reform of the Highway Code, incentives for the purchase of protective clothing, and the creation of non-damaging guardrails in the event of a fall. . In the meantime, the conditions for EICMA 2018 appear very positive and promises to be an increasingly successful international edition, thanks to the increase in foreign exhibitors; the activity of the companies that are developing the innovations that will have to meet the enthusiasm of the enthusiasts is abuzz".
