"The start of 2018 is very satisfactory for our market, thanks to the new products that are meeting the favor of users, but the macroeconomic scenario which is finally showing consolidated positive indicators also certainly helps. Consumer confidence continues to improve thanks to the recovery in employment and orders and investments are also on the rise. In particular, exports accelerate the demand for our products. The automotive sector confirms the driving effect on the recovery and two-wheelers express their potential through the renewed passion for motorbikes, which acquire new customers, and the indispensable role of scooters for sustainable mobility - declares Andrea Dell'Orto, President of Confindustria ANCMA, National Association of Cycle Motorcycle Accessories -. The favorable conditions we are encountering encourage us to urge greater attention to the sector from politicians who are preparing to renew Parliament and Government. 8.600.000 users expect rapid approval of the changes to the Highway Code, which have been stalled for years. The necessary investments are expected from public administrations, also using the proceeds of fines, to increase road safety with infrastructures that take into account those traveling on two wheels. Confindustria Ancma will continue to take action to ensure that two wheels are included as protagonists in sustainable mobility plans".
