With HAT Sestriere Adventourfest you go beyond the clouds by motorbike

From Friday 29 June until Sunday 1 July, the sixth edition of the HAT Sestriere Adventourfest, Also known as By Motorbike Beyond the Clouds, an event-gathering on the routes of the Alta Val di Susa, the historic access route to the Po Valley, characterized by military works that also date back to the 700th century. Forts, outposts, barracks and a network of high-altitude roads, always at altitudes above 2000 metres, built many years ago for territorial control and defense purposes and which today constitute a perfect environment for practicing adventure tourism.

HAT Sestriere Adventourfest: the program

It is a three-day event with base camp in Sestriere, from Friday 29 June to Sunday 1 July, which due to the characteristics of the routes is ideal for those who want to start the practice of adventure tourism by motorbike. Every day a different route thanks to the precious and qualified assistance of the IGAST FMI guides of Base Luna, who have profound knowledge of the routes and are always available to meet the participants' driving needs. The guides will take their pre-determined groups of a dozen motorbikes to the most panoramic and spectacular points of these beautiful mountains: the Assietta road, the Seguret mountains, the Colomion hill, the Argentera and Thures valleys, the of the moon. Routes of approximately 180 km each, with a high percentage of dirt road (approximately 70%) with an "easy" difficulty level. A refreshment stop will be offered in the middle of the day. The routes are suitable, for the most part, even in the presence of a passenger.
Also for this sixth edition, the opening to transit, for those registered for the event only, of some routes in the Monti della Luna and on the slopes of the legendary Mount Chaberton are confirmed, while the novelty for 2018 consists of the possibility of following the itineraries open to transit also using the GPS tracks provided by the organization, to try to navigate in perfect Adventouring style.

HAT Sestriere Adventourfest: there's a surprise

But the HAT Sestriere offers its participants an unmissable opportunity: the HALF Hardalpitour, a 250 km night tour largely off-road with departure at 23.00pm on Saturday. An exceptional chance to try night driving on dirt roads, with the magnificent illumination of the moon at high altitude. A truly unique and unforgettable experience. There are therefore many opportunities offered by HAT Sestriere to enjoy your own maxi-enduro during a long weekend in the high mountains, which can represent a real panacea for regenerating body and spirit.
