CIV Mugello: Pirelli wins the Superbike Title with Matteo Baiocco
Victories also in Supersport, National Trophy 1000 and 600
CIV Pirelli – a very exciting season of Italian Speed Championship which saw among the absolute protagonists Pirelli, historic Italian tire manufacturer.
The Pirelli-tyred centaurs have in fact won four Italian titles.
The most prestigious result is certainly the one obtained in Superbike, Where Matthew Baiocco – on Ducati – he became Italian Champion after a season in battle with Michele Pirro.
Then 3 other titles arrived for the Italian company: Stefano Cruciani (Kawasaki rider) won the Supersport – a championship entirely equipped with Pirelli tires – Alessio Velini (BMW) won the National Trophy 1000 e Mattia Golini (Yamaha) the National Trophy 600.
A season of the highest level which confirms, once again, how competitive this great Italian manufacturer is not only on road bikes, but also on racing ones.
